I think if you go to the listing you want to revise on auctiva click get code and copy and paste the code then go to listing on ebay you want to revise and click select all where it has the description and remove the whole description and paste the code you copied from auctive it will replace the entire listing and leave out the counter.  :h0035

I can understand the use of counters on ebay pages where the user doesn't have a store,  but if you do have a store, why not just use the stats available via your Marketing Page from Omniture??  The link is down at the bottom left of the marketing page.
Putting a counter on your own site also befuddles me.  Any decent webhost has better stats than what you can get for free from a third party, at least in my experiences, and you don't have to make your stats public if you choose.

Thanks for your input Frank.

I never, NEVER have public counters on my auctions, website sales or any place where buyers can do research to see my stats.

http://www.auctionsellersmotivators.com/forum/index.php/topic,4954.msg49099.html#msg49099

I really haven't found the Omniture stats to be as in depth as I like. I really, REALLY do like having the paid Sellathon Counters which I can set up to always be private.

I agree about the website...via cpanel almost every website has the ability to allow it's users to view basic stats.

Sometimes it's just faster to put an extreme tracker on main pages of a website so I don't have to sign in and out to get info. Plus an extreme tracker is sooooooooooo basic info..I can see the info at a glance and not get into all the other stat info from my webmaster or statcounter.

If you use Auctiva , where do you host your photos?

Auctiva does not host -- do they?

The price is right (free) but do you pay someone to host and Auctivia uploads from there?

Auctiva holds over 3 MB of my pics. Some I have other places, but for the most part, Auctiva has them.

HA!  Auctiva probably hosts around 500 MB of my scans - thousands and thousands of pictures, even though I diligently delete ones I don't need anymore.

3.99/mo for 5GB storage. Haven't deleted a pic in almost 3 years, I'm at 26% capacity, and still have all my pics.  :nana

True Dat Bobby. I've some of mine stored on my hosted space...I need to get my bootie in gear and get them all over there.

It's not like it's hard.

Why? I figure hosting them at Auctiva leaves me more room on my website. No?

ive seen auctiva photo hosting down more than my site ;)   Plus, my current site has unmetered bandwidth.  But, I'm gonna have to move from them (just havent moved yet) cause their support sucks ever since they got bought out.

I host my site at 50megs.com, and it's always been plenty of space for me, BUT this month I'm getting close to 50% of my space used. So I'm definitely not wanting to store images there during Halloween. After, I'll be fine again. I haven't notice my Auctiva images down anywhere in a l-o-n-g time.  :up

Granted, it doesn't seem like Auctiva has had any image-hosting problems in quite a while.  I started doing it that way back in the SD days -- when there were problems all too often -- and haven't found a reason to switch.

Besides, my hosting plan has 300GB of storage space and even running three websites off it I'm barely scratching the surface.

True, but I have a few gigs of images stored on my website as well. Storing some of them at Auctiva and letting them host them saves my website space for just that - my websites.  Auctiva only hosts my ebay stuff, and not all of that.
