Deactivated for Potential Pricing WTH
« on: September 28, 2019, 10:42:08 AM »
I have an item.
A very well ranked item.
I received notice that the item has been deactivated for potential pricing.
Is the price too high?
Nope.
After fees, I'm making $$ but nothing exorbitant.
<rolling eyes>

My pricing is in line with other sellers.
Oh, Did I mention the main competitor is Amazon?

There are other sellers items of the item.
Oh, Did I mention that their inventory is still active even though my price was lower than theirs?

What the every lovin' #*&$% is going on?
C'mon, Amazon!

This is the 3rd time in six weeks.
I end up being so frustrated after back and forthing with seller support (every time a team leader request) that I'll remove inventory just to have it be over with.

Rant is over!

Update:
After mucho back and forth with screenshots showing my price was inline with other sellers...
Amazon admitted that yes, my items had been suppressed for potential high pricing and yes, the other sellers prices were higher than mine and still active.
The only reason given was that mine was caught by an alogorithm and the other sellers weren't caught.

But they assured me that the other sellers would eventually be caught and suppressed.

What in the wide wide word of sports?
Insanity!

Item wasn't marked exorbitantly.
Item was in line.
Item had been sold out by Amazon by the second day, leaving we others to share in the buy box.
So my friends...What in the wide wide world of sports is going on?

I gave up and removed item.
UGH!

Honestly, it sounds like Amazon simply wants to be the only seller of the item and they're playing dirty (aka being Amazon) :(

I've had this happen on an item and eventually had to remove it. The suggested sales price for my FBA product was $0.33.

Really Amazon? I'm not some dumb newbie that will fall for that kind of stuff.

I just removed my items. Paid the full $.50 for each item just so Amazon wouldn't get free stock if I had Amazon dispose of the stock for me. No way am I giving them free inventory.
