New PayPal Policy Regarding Fees and Refunds

Effective May 7th, 2019

"We're changing how we treat refunds. If you refund (partially or fully) a transaction to a buyer or a donation to a donor, there are no fees to make the refund, but the fees you originally paid as the seller will not be returned to you."

In other words, the 2.9% fee from the original transaction will no longer be refunded (as well as the original 30¢, which they've always kept).

Every time there is a new policy:

I think with this, you'll start to see some ebay sellers try to steer their customers into other methods of payment.

Didn't this past year eBay began having other means of payment?
I purchased some shipping supplies in January and was able to choose Paypal or their own card carrier.
Worked smooth as silk.

Yeah, ebay has started their own payment system, but I haven't shopped there enough lately to even see it.
