Geeeeze...
How many times a week can people post:
Slow sales in the past 2-3 days?
Slow sales for the past week?
Anybody else experiencing slow sales?
Slump in sales?
<rolling my eyes>

Because each and every one of them lacks business sense. Sometimes things are cyclical. Sometimes something is mentioned on tv that spurs sales. Sometimes the listings themselves are crap. Sometimes it is price. Sometimes it is keywords (or lack thereof) burying search results.

I've avoided those threads for the last few weeks because I get a little tired of answering the same questions with the same answers. Hell, a couple times I did a cut-and-paste for one of my answers among several threads. Maybe its time I go back and raise some heck.

Similar things at shows. Sales are slumping because midterm elections and all of the sky is falling ads on tv. Yet, some vendors are perplexed as to why sales are in a slump. Happens every time, like clockwork.

Agree!
The thing is when they are posting these crazy my sales postings...mine are doing ok.
Not blockbusters but ok.
Commerce is cyclical.

I'm doing really well so I can't complain. But seeing all these "woe is me" threads makes me want to rub it in. I'm trying to be a calmer, gentler Leroy this time around. I doubt it will stick, but at least I'm trying. :)
