Wanted to come over and say I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year's Eve and to wish all a Happy and prosperous new year.  Resolutions anyone?  I only had one this year, not the standard lose weight, quit smoking, blah blah blah.  Ok well I have two and so far so good

Stop CURSING and complaining.  I have a Curse and Complain jar set up.  So far, it's empty!!  YAHHHHHH

Learn to say NO more often.  I spread myself so thin this past year knowing I was putting myself behind the eight ball, knowing I was going to lose sleep to stay up and get a job done, getting in the "middle" of things I had no idea I was getting in the middle of, etc.  I know we've all been there.  So, I'm going to have to learn to watch over my own sanity, sleep, stress and just say "I wish I could help, but"    Now if no one asks me "but what?" I'm in the clear     :0191

Had dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Athens, OH where Bigg Fredd and I would visit regularly. The experience brought back two memories, one of the night we were there with a large party and every one at the table decided that they liked what the person next to them ordered and everyone agreed to pass their plates to the left and ate what the other person ordered.
The other memory was of the night we met a friend who lived in Athens at the restaurant. He asked why we were willing to drive fifty miles for Chinese food when there were Chinese restaurants in Lancaster. As he asked the question, I was cracking open a fortune cookie. The fortune read, "The forest is always more majestic from a distance." I just tossed the fortune at my friend and said, "Here's your answer."
<----- Slow ride. Take it easy.

Nope.
No Resolutions here.
But I do like your curse jar.
I bet I could save a mint over the course of a year.
Nyuck Nyuck.

Curse jar STILL empty.  I can't believe it myself.  I should be going to pirate's mouth withdrawal right now, but instead I'm suffering fox news withdrawal because of the Dish/Fox contract disputes  LOL  And even that didn't make me cuss.            Yet

Love the BF story and the answer couldn't have come at a more opportune time!

Told hubby your resolution and he told me I'd be out of that attempted resolution real fast.

Couple bucks in it so far....don't know what to say except I spent several hours running a rug doc over my area rugs and lo and behold someone comes in and trashes them before I can even put the rug doc back in the car to return.  Earned me a couple bucks in the jar  LOL

Now....shall we guess who trashed the carpet????

She'll be 8 months old tomorrow and her vet visit last week says she's 68 pounds.  Five months ago when I brought her home she was 17 pounds.  WOW
