Remember bluejay? Now moving towards eBluejay
« on: September 06, 2014, 10:30:58 AM »
From email notice:

Hello **********,

We are proud to announce the new website eBluejay. It is not finished yet, but we are very close and want to make a final push to launch. To do that we have to work full-time but cannot without cash reserves. So we are starting a fundraiser on indiegogo to raise $10,000 enabling us to finish the website by October 31st. The money raised will cover development expenses, new hardware and hosting for launch day. Contributions range from $5, which will verify your new store, to $25 for full beta access and pre-launch live stores. Without your support we can't guarantee a launch by this holiday season which is something we all want.

There will be no listing or final value fees, but it will cost $5 to open your store. This will verify seller information and help keep the marketplace safe. eBluejay will also have lots of new features that sellers need. A CSV loader will help sellers get their store up and running right away. Multiple payment acceptance will allow your customers to pay with Amazon, Paypal, and Credit Card via Authorize.net & Stripe. Integration with Social networking websites, Search engine optimizations and Google shopping will aid in promoting your store. All these features will be encompassed in a beautiful & intuitive design geared for ease of use.

Visit eBluejay to see screenshots of the new website.

I'm thinking a new and improved ... Won't change that lol
sock monkeys at www.OurSockMonkey.com and of course everything at www.FilthyRichFashions.com

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That is why we call it the present!

HA!

I've stumbled upon the bluejay site when shopping/researching items.
Clarify...when searching out items that are vintage or retro items.
I've never shopped for new goods on the site.

I really like that the site accepts Amazon Payments.
That's a plus for me.
I don't have time to consider an eCommerce third party site at this time but perhaps when they are up and running.

A good place for people who for whatever reason don't care to be on Amazon, and this site's listed plenty of reasons why Amazon's not for everyone, to try their luck.
<----- Slow ride. Take it easy.

I agree with you, Scoot.
I have items that aren't in pristine condition that I have up on eBay.
Might be nice to try another venue for a change.
I do sell items on eBay, but it's not consistent.
As I said, I do find items via research that come up with the bluejay site.
