Ebay listings - boost your visibility
« on: September 08, 2012, 03:49:58 AM »
I've been experiencing a rash of minor and major technical difficulties with my eBay listings. I'm convinced now that calling eBay and trying to resolve these issues calmly & professionally has given my listings a boost in visibility  :017

I agree.
I've made sales on eBay and yes, I did have to yank eBay's chain a bit.
I didn't call, but I did send a message.
BAM!
My eBay sales moved!

On one hand, good for you. OTOH, that is really disturbing, that they are able to and do manipulate their system like that. I guess I shouldn't be surprised - I've thought for a long time it was gamed toward big sellers somehow. But very disturbing anyway.

Sadly, I think of myself as a big seller (14,000 + feedbacks), but I sell collectibles & eBay has forgotten who brung 'em to the party!
I make more $ on eBay than I do in my own brick & mortar store - it's just not as fun & profitable as it was 5 years ago  :'(
If my listings were visible all the time, both eBay & I would make more $

Its been a long time since I've listed on eBay
Too many changes to fix my listings
Too many new rules
Not enough buyers willing to pay

Last time I listed I ended up with 4 non payments = waste of my time
The others that sold went for opening bid
So I haven't been back!

I need to. Lol got a house full to sell

I did hirer a trade assistant - that failed to mention shed be gone this past week!
So far 8 out of 25 items listed since 8/22.  She put them in her eBay store.
Not looking good
sock monkeys at www.OurSockMonkey.com and of course everything at www.FilthyRichFashions.com

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That is why we call it the present!

BTPS - I'm interested in hearing how the Trade Assistant works out for you.
