It's 1984 at InkFrog
« on: August 21, 2010, 08:13:50 AM »
Sometime between last Saturday and yesterday, the options to use stock photo as gallery and show additional item description in listings for the CD category have mysteriously disappeared from InkFrog's lister.  You can't see them on ANY listings - not live listings, not library listings, not the profile I use for CDs.  I put in a ticket for it and was told by "Paul" that "this feature is only available for listing through eBay" - even though I don't list through eBay and was using it up to a mere week ago.  Maybe the problem with their tech support is that they're using Newspeak instead of English?

Can anybody get in or am I just special?  I've got 2 hours to work before a plumber shows up to poop on the rest of my day and no InkFrog.  Man, it's getting harder and harder to be a cheerleader for IF!   :?

Well if he's had the common decency to SAY SO - or if IF had ANNOUNCED it - I'd be less miffed.  Instead he just said it was gone - I get the feeling he didn't even know what I was talking about.

You know, when I moved over to IF from Auctiva I felt like I was a member of a community and a valued customer.  Now, a year later, I feel like I'm only a commodity - and one that's being phased out and discontinued.

Well, the feature is back as of last weekend.  We are at war with Eastasia... we have always been at war with Eastasia...
