Oopsie! I just plugged the url in and got a message "hacking attempt", so if you admins see that it was me and I swear I wasn't trying to hack, just trying to view the file the error reference. sorry.

Nope.
First time in four years I've heard that being reported.
What browser, anti-virus, etc?

Where's Poco located...because we do have entire blocks of IP's blocked and certain countries, too.

Someone from Canada tried to join our forum...I believe it was yesterday.
Since the screen-name they had chosen didn't bring up any info as far as seller or business via internet search...I declined their membership.

We try and keep this forum as spam free as possible.

If this was him, please let him know to try and join again and I'll approve.

edited to add: If you could get the name he'll be using to sign up with and let me know via PM, I'll automatically approve if I'm around.

Donna, hope you got my message, here is part of a reply per your request.

Never get that far, always times out.

I was thinking of putting down the protection one piece at a time.  Avast anti virus, Spybot, then the firewall.  I will try the firewall first as it is the only one that can actually time me out I think.

Any tips and tricks for 500 - Internal Server Error?    :053

Can anybody actually get into IF this morning?

I haven't had any problems this morning using IF, but I didn't get started until maybe 10am CST.

Anybody else torqued about the Unsolds??  I have largely one of a kind items, so don't use Inventory.  I don't rely on eBay's Unsolds, I rely on Inkfrog's. It took me close to two hours to delete the already deleted Unsolds yesterday. Here's what I wrote to Support below. Got a decent reply from Sheryl, too, but that didn't help take the sting out of the time I lost.

Do you understand that this is how I tell if I need to relist an item or not? I don't go by eBay, I go by Inkfrog. Items that I may have taken from Fixed Price to Standard or vice versa, I do not relist after two weeks - I have changes to make to them, and your set-up is too awkward to simply make those changes and put them back in the library, so I pull them up from saved listings, make the changes and put them back in the library, and then DELETE THEM from the Unsold list. Otherwise, I would have more than one copy (one good and revised, the other an old one I wouldn't want to keep).

Since I have largely one of a kind items, I don't use Inventory. Now the ones I deleted are no longer deleted, so I must now go one by one, back 30 days to see if they have been listed or just what their status is. This is far more than a mere inconvenience. It could take me hours to go through 484 Unsolds. I'm in tears wondering where or how to start.

I have this message at the top of the Unsold Items page:

Note, we have just released a new, faster database system for unsold listings. Due to this update, your unsold listings will temporarily only have a 30 day history. If you need to access unsold listings that ended prior to July 18th, please contact support and they can assist you. You may also notice that some previously deleted unsold listings are showing again in your list. We apologize for this inconvenience, please feel free to delete these items again if necessary.

I love it!  "please feel free to delete these items again if necessary." Its only time after all, time I don't have to spare.

I also have items showing in unsold that are sold and shipped.  Not sure what is up with that.

Did you notice the new Sold page? My eyes are swimming looking at it.  I am leaving on vacation tomorrow don't have a lot of time to study these newest tweaks maybe it will be good, but for now it makes my head hurt.

It seems IF has lost track of its two main selling points:  scheduling and speed. More and more, I see complaints about how it takes multiple clicks to do something, or things are arranged in ways that slow work down.

I'm put off by their new "truth in advertising" as well...sign up for your free account, it's in the smart lister video and all throughout the inkfrog.com splash pages.  Come on, 25 listings a year qualifies for the free account and "Basic Tools", otherwise sign up for the $14.95 account...what are the basic tools as opposed to the upgraded tools?  Kinda vague on if the $14.95 covers compatibility, international terapeak, etc.  There's always ambiguity and if you don't like the ambiguity and submit a ticket...it gets "heathered".

I'm using TL currently and while it takes a little getting used to, for me, it far outweighs the aggravation (and arrogance) I encountered towards the end at IF.  I'd never recommend them to anyone, in fact, I'd probably recommend Auctiva over IF.  While both have their share of problems, because there's no TPS that's perfect, their customer support was/is far superior to IF's.  I tried on so many levels to explain to Greg that GREAT customer service and communication will, more often than not, save a business in trying times.  IF fails on both, IMO

That noticed that yesterday.  I clicked on the video just for yuks and couldn't believe they made that comment at the end!  The "inkFrog is now FREE" banner in the upper right corner is very misleading too if you ask me.
