Amazon Payments
« on: January 21, 2009, 10:35:07 AM »
Ok, I'm all set up and ready to start accepting payments via Amazon Payments...anybody else?

I have the Welcome to Amazon blah blah blah email. I have Amazon Payments enabled on mybisi stores, but it dadgum sure isn't showing as a payment option when a buyer purchases.

I'm lost. (imagine that)

Anybody?

Never mind...<smile> I found the answer on the BISI boards. This is exactly how long I've been trying to get my payments enabled. DOH! Helps to visit the boards...my faux pas.

Amazon Payments have been temporary disabled on all accounts. We have received a small number of instances where payments were sent to the wrong recipient. We are currently troubleshooting this issue and have disabled this option in the interim.

Wow, that could be a problem, lol. Wrong recipients, that's hilarious. I hope they resolve the issue soon though, I was interested in using it.

thanks,

Yeah, the payments were going to Tomas (BISI)! LOL

I had it enabled and had 1 order where the person paid through Amazon, thankfully it was before the glitch.

Didn't click your link so I don't know which post you found but the last I heard from Tomas was that he was still working on trying to figure out what was going wrong.

Thanks Terri.

The link also mentioned that the payment a seller received from Amazon took 90 days to be released. And she was already an existing Amazon customer.

I say....EEEEEEK!

That's strange about the payment not getting released. The one payment I had before it was disabled was processed very quickly by Amazon and mine was a brand new Amazon Payments account.

The Amazon Payments is working for BISI.
I received a payment on my Tier I account.
I now know how long it takes before being able to have access to my money.
How long?
15+ days.

https://payments.amazon.com/sdui/sdui/about?nodeId=6016

There is a Tier II that doesn't hold funds and the requirements are on the link above.

For now, the Amazon Payments is being deleted from my BISI payment means until I'm moved to Tier II.

I receive Google Checkout and Paypal payments just fine and have for months with no glitches and I'll continue to receive those payments. I just won't have Amazon Payments till I can be assured that I'm Tier II.

Yeah, two weeks is quite a while to wait for a payment when you've already shipped...

For now, I'm going to keep it on my recipes and ebook sites but I'm not going to keep it on my tangible item accounts.
