I don't have a head!
« on: February 07, 2008, 10:49:37 AM »
Well, at everyones wonderful suggestions, I have made lots of bows and headbands to go with the clothes that I make. BUT I don't have a head to display them on! Zac though adorable, doesn't do such a great job at modeling, and If I were to use Izzy, she would want to keep them. Should I try to find a head, or is just a separate picture good enough?

i think a separate pic should be fine, personally.

i just spend a lot of time looking for a flower girl dress for my daughter, and most had pics of the headbands by themselves.  just play around w/ background color until you find something to make it *pop*. hope this helps! :)

If at first it doesn't sell, list, list again! (after a cocktail and a nap ;) )

I think you need a head. It's nicer to see the bow and dress together. JMO.  ;)

I think the picture would be fine :up

I haven't look recently but how are other sellers displaying them?

Most have them laying on a solid color. Some have the dresses on hangers with the bow at the hook.. but since I have those fabulous hanging manni's I guess I could hook to the neck portion.
I'll probably buy a headed mannequin next fall.

When I used my hanging manni, I always displayed the headband at the top of the neck.
