Hi Everyone

Bidz is now up and running after going through major script upgrade and
a move to a new dedicated server.

We need sellers to create stores and add listings, currently everything
is free with the only exception being the verification process.

Why would you want to join us?

1) We have 1000's of unique visitors daily hitting the site
2) You have nothing to lose by trying us out
3) Your items wil be listed in Google, MSN, Yahoo and many other places
4) We add GBP15 when you join and a further GBP5 upon verification so
when fees are switched on again you dont spend a cent till you make a sale!

Upload multiple images
Upload Video

Professional support people in place to answer your questions.

We sincerely hope you do take a look and spend some time adding your items
and we look forward to helping you sell those items.

All the Best

How much are they spending?

Sure I do.  The most valuable thing I have.  Time.  Time I'm spending fiddling around with a new site is time I'm not listing on sites that are proven sellers.

That's pretty standard anymore.

That's well and good, but I don't pay anything to be on ecrater, and I sell lots of stuff over there.

Not picking on you specifically, just giving you an "inside the customer's mind" POV.

Plus, since you are in Great Brittan and we are in the States, we'd have the exchange rates and foreign shipping fees to worry about. Thanks, but no thanks.

Since the dollar is very weak, U.S. sellers selling in the UK should go over quite well.  The pound buys a whole lot more from the U.S. than it used to.

I know my overseas sales to the UK (as well as other countries in Europe and Asia) have gone up quite a bit over the past year.

Some people mistake reality for negativity.  Even if you do a much better job than ebaY (not really tough), you're still up against a numbers game that hasn't been won by such well-financed hitters as Yahoo and Overtsock.

Very true - and those of us who take the risk to start a new site am sure know that.

For many it is a hobby and sure tons go by the wayside (sadly) every year but out of
the dust a few good one's emerge. We are not aiming to knock Feebay off its perch in
the immediate future but if we can grab a tiny bit of the market and look after our users
with some good old fashioned service then we'll give that a go.

There are lots of good people with lots of good ideas and hopefully we can capitalise on
some of those and improve what we do - even a great tree had to start life as a seed so
we'll just keep growing and if we can have some fun and help some people along the way
then the journey would have been worthwhile.

Sales since November for us have been over $10k and shortly we will add some mods so
viewers can see some more stats. Either that or we'll post our monthly sales.

Have a Great Xmas and a Happy New Year :lump:

I'm sure you're an excellent alternative to eBay.uk for British merchants, but I prefer to list and ship domestically.
