Anyone here participate in any of the Biggest Loser forums?

Anyone here participate in any of the Biggest Loser forums?

Just wondering.

2009 is the year I plan to get rid of all the weight (not lose it as then I just seem to find it again!).
I spent all of 1999 and part of 2000 losing 153 pounds of which most of it has found it's way back to me.

2009 it's going to be gone again so by 2010 and another land  mark birthday I will be thinner then every in my adult life.

I never did the forum weight lose stuff.  Last time I was doctor supervised.  This time I am on my own as my insurnace company totally sucks!

BT, I never normally watch any reality TV, but I have watched the last two episodes of this season, and was quite impressed.

I just looked at the online site, and wondered the same thing. I'd love to know if anyone thinks that it is worth the $19.98 a month for 3 months. I might be interested in joining, I don't have a huge amount to lose, but it's getting harder the older I get. Also, I always do better when I am held accountable by following a program of some sort.

I see that there are many others. I would think that they would be quite helpful, and I would certainly consider it. I think it's great that you're motivated to do it, so I say, GO FOR IT!

I am going to do something, just not sure what thing it will be. I'm considering that one, and but also considering other options as well.

Wow, BT!! I am in total amazement at anyone who can shed the weight like that! I've been following the show just because it's so inspiring to see the metamorphosis. The will and determination to make such life altering change -- no matter what that change might be -- is just awesome.

I only have 20 extra pounds and it has made me soooo uncomfortable. I can't imaging what it's like for those contestants being trapped inside another 100+ . You know that's not the real you, but feel so powerless to get out from under the weight -- literally!

I want to lose 20 and would love to have the moral support of a forum group to try and get me motivated.

I need to learn to make better food choices and make myself get up and burn calories. I just have such a hard time with my legs being tired or hurting when I exercise that I use that for an excuse. I'm sure if I got used to it, the weight would come off and my legs would end up thanking me for it.

It's my New Year's resolution to get rid of this weight before it becomes something more and harder to handle. For one thing, I cannot buy new clothes, that's out of the question. I sit here typing in a pair of sweat pants because they are the most comfortable, but I can't wear them forever. LOL

Same here and I dont' have medical issues - other then ALOT of extra pounds.

I am giving myself 20 months to get rid of it all.  That should be plenty long

I can't blame my weight gain on not knowing how to choose healthy foods, or on the lack of culinary skills. Both David and I pride ourselves on our cooking skills, and we are very well educated in healthy eating.

I will admit that my biggest downfall has been since I had my thumb joints replaced. Those two surgeries, (the first in August, and the second 4 weeks ago), prevented me from doing my usual circuit training at the health club 3 days a week.

The pain and the fact that I can't really use my hands, has been hard. It is also when, I apparently began to feel sorryfor myself so then  I stopped following Weight Watchers meal plan. I guess I used it as my excuse to eat whatever I wanted, and whenever I wanted.

I have decided to go back on the WW plan, which I know how to do, and know that it works. I know that when  I follow it faithfully, I can be back to where I want to be within  about 3 months. I also plan to return to the gym just as soon as the Ortho and therapists say I can resume my normal routines. I actually really like to work out there, and I miss it.

I'm down to 230 or so.  Don't recommend my system.

You missed the party yesterday.  I clogged the machine, so they tried putting on new tubing. I forgot to remind them about back pressure.  Looked like the texas chainsaw massacre.  Took three people twenty minutes just to clean it all up.
