The free auction style listings do not seem to apply to store owners. :-(

Yes, a performance of the entire work would last for hours! I have a much-loved Handel's Messiah CD that only includes "Hallelujah!" highlights. It contains 19 tracks and the running time is 75 minutes. That selection is what I have seen performed by most typical church chiors as a Christmas cantata.
Hearing the "Hallelujah! Chorus" always means Christmas to me.

THANK YOU, WOW! That will really help me. Amanda told me that they already own number 2, but I had no clue which one that was. Now I can go and get them , and feel confident that I got the right ones!  :love005 :up

??? I know nothing at all about the Twilight movies, except that for many people they are very popular. I was just informed that Kyle, (our granddaughter Amanda's hubby), would like to have the first and third DVD's for Christmas. I have no idea which one is first, second or third, so I need some help with this please. Amanda did say that they don't want Blu-ray, they want the DVD fullscreen editions.
Thank you! Deborah

What is that thing the stockings are hung on.  It's the scene from Casablanca, isn't it?
I like !!!

Yes, it is! It's a wrought iron sculpture of my absolute FAVORITE movie of all time. I actually won it from a television show many years ago that used to be on called Home and Family which was hosted by Chuck Woolery and Christina Ferrare. It was one of those dumb, "Be the 7th caller and win today's prize...." I was stunned when I won, and especially after I found out what the prize was. :heartB  I always say that I was SUPPOSED to be the winner for it, because I have the right wall for it, and I love Casablanca so much. The sculpture was done by Curtis Jere. who is well known for his metal sculptures. Here is the rest of that wall, which includes the framed 50th anniversary poster for the film:

Last year, we donated the huge artificial tree that we had used for many, many years. When we were raising the girls, it always occupied the same spot in our great room, and it was gorgeous, and it was BIG. Since we are empty nesters now, and we now have a 50" television in that room, the corner where the tree had been is no longer accessible.

This year, we decided that we would downsize in a big way. We bought a very skinny 5 ft tree, and moved it to another spot. We actually like that it is so small. It's the beginning of a new tradition for us, but it may be more difficult for Amanda to get used to! When she saw it yesterday she said, "WOW! That's smaller than the one that you used to put in my bedroom!"

Anyway, here's our tree!  :h0161 Deborah
