Learn about our new policy on buyer feedback
May 8, 2018
Effective May 8, if you ship an order on time using Buy Shipping, and the buyer leaves seller feedback solely related to delayed or not received deliveries, you can request to have the impact of the feedback removed from your feedback rating.

A line will appear through the feedback with the following statement highlighting you were not at fault when the request was approved:

“The fulfillment issues associated with this order were not due to the seller.”

from the article:

Jake picked up the box on his desk, tore through the packing tape, unearthed the iPhone case inside, snapped a picture, and uploaded it to an Amazon review he’d been writing. The review included a sentence about the case’s sleek design and cool, clear volume buttons. He finished off the blurb with a glowing title (“The perfect case!!”) and rated the product a perfect five stars. Click. Submitted.

Jake never tried the case. He doesn’t even have an iPhone.

Jake then copied the link to his review and pasted it into an invite-only Slack channel for paid Amazon reviewers. A day later, he received a notification from PayPal, alerting him to a new credit in his account: a $10 refund for the phone case he’ll never use, along with $3 for his trouble — potentially more, if he can resell the iPhone case.

The canes were out of the sealed wrapped candy canes.
Damaged to the point of powder in the bottom of the box.
These were Raspberry... So they would've been decent sprinkles for chocolate ice-cream.
* Amazon Central / Amazon Meltable Removal May 15th 2018
« on: May 05, 2018, 09:29:34 AM »
Hello from Fulfillment by Amazon,
We are writing to let you know that meltable inventory will not be fulfilled or accepted by Amazon fulfillment centers starting May 15, 2018. Meltable inventory will be accepted again starting October 1, 2018.
Removal orders for this inventory must be submitted before June 1, 2018. If a removal order is not submitted before that date, your meltable inventory will be disposed of.

“Meltable” refers to heat-sensitive grocery and health and personal care products that are eaten or swallowed, including chocolate, gummies, and probiotics.
For more information, visit Remove inventory from a fulfillment center.

Thank you for selling on Amazon.

But since Amazon likes to steal seller's vendor data and then strike a deal with the vendor directly, I wouldn't do it.

My thoughts exactly.

I don't know, as I haven't been "into" eBay in years.
It's my bent and dent store.

I am heading back with a renewed sense of purpose.

If I don't revisit this in the next week, bump it to remind me.

I have some items I'm putting on Etsy, some on eBay, some on a website.

And would sincerely like to get into the promotions of eBay... again after years.

* Amazon Central / Seller Support ARGHHHH!!!!

Ok, The new Seller Support/Get Help.
Who the heck thought this was a bright idea?

Anyway, type gibberish into the select help search and it will let you move to the next step.
Getting flippin' help.
The fluuuuhhhhliping item was expired that Amazon accepted back.
I had to ask to have the item pulled and reviewed.
Because well, duh.

Amazon refunded the customer for an item they purchased in September.
Amazon placed it back in my inventory.
Amazon didn't check to see if item was expired.

All around major FUBAR.

Finally rec'd a refund.
Who is running that place?
A seller should not have to fight these types of issues as hard as I had to.

I. Am. Not. Doing. This.
No way.
No how.

But why?
Are there really sellers scrambling to have this service?

Totally 100% agree.
Amazon could pay us instead of earning interest on our funds.
If they trust their buyers so much to pay an invoice?
Let Amazon eat the cost until it's paid.

Those brave (and possibly don't have their wits about them)

As noted above, Amazon still doesn't want to refund me on damaged candy canes.
They've seen the bubble envelop.
They've seen the damaged product.
They've seen the labels.

No refund.

I'd best not respond.
