* Amazon Central / Amazon Headline Search
« on: July 23, 2018, 10:30:16 AM »
These have been around awhile.
But as per usual I'm such a small seller in the big ocean of Amazon Sellers, I just don't know about these types of additions.

What are Amazon Headline Search Ads?
Amazon made Headline Search Ads available to third party sellers in Seller Central. Up until this point Headline Search Ads were only available in Vendor Central through Amazon Marketing Services. If you use Seller Central you have likely noticed that Headline Search Ads are now available to you, but you might be wondering how exactly this type of advertising campaign works and how best to use it.

2018 Holiday Selling in Toys & Games on

Wow! Seems like the notifications keep getting earlier and earlier.

Dear Seller,

As a reminder, in order to maintain a great customer experience this holiday season, we have established holiday selling guidelines for the Toys & Games store.

Only the sellers who meet the criteria listed below will be eligible to sell in the Toys & Games category from October 17, 2018 through January 05, 2019.

•       Your first sale on has to occur prior to August 18, 2018. The sale does not need to be specific to the Toys & Games store.
•       You have to process and ship at least 25 orders from August 01, 2018 through October 01, 2018. The orders do not need to be specific to the Toys & Games store.
•       Your pre-fulfillment cancel rate for the period from September 01 through September 30, 2018 has to be lesser than 1.75%.
•       Your late shipment rate for the period from September 01 through September 30, 2018 has to be lesser than 4%.
•       Your order defect rate has to be lesser than 1% short term as of October 01, 2018.

Orders that use Fulfillment by Amazon will not be subjected to the above criteria provided your account is in good standing.

You can find your cancel rate, late shipment rate, and order defect rate in the Performance section of your seller account. If your account does not meet the above criteria, we encourage you to take corrective action to ensure your eligibility to sell in the Toys & Games category this holiday season.

Eligibility for selling in the Toys & Games store is determined separately for each country. If you sell in multiple marketplaces, your account will be evaluated for each country.

We will provide a final notification about your eligibility to sell in the Toys & Games store by October 11, 2018. Beginning October 17, 2018, we will monitor the performance and listings of the sellers who are approved to sell in Toys & Games store during the holiday season.

Amazon Services reserves the right to cancel listings, remove selling privileges, and prohibit the sale of specific products to maintain a great customer shopping experience.

Here are some steps you can take to remain eligible to sell in Toys & Games store throughout the holiday season:

•       Monitor your performance metrics and take corrective action when necessary.
•       Use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) to ship products to customers.
•       Check your orders frequently in the Manage Orders section of your account.
•       Minimize order cancellations and display the inventory for sale that is available to ship.
•       Ship orders and confirm the shipments in a timely manner.
•       Ensure your seller policies are up to date.
•       If you work with outside drop-shippers, solidify their SLA commitments for providing prompt shipping confirmation.

Thank you for selling on Amazon.

Amazon will find it for you using your smartphone camera, a white surface, and a penny.
Amazon and start-up Xealth are planning a pilot where doctors would 'prescribe' products to be delivered after patients leave the hospital

Amazon, Providence and Xealth are working together on a pilot which could launch in months, according to two people familiar. <-----

The idea is to "prescribe" medical products and services to patients before they're discharged. The products would be fulfilled by Amazon or another e-commerce company, and Prime members could get discounts.

That helps Amazon court a new demographic: Those with complex medical conditions, new mothers, and people recovering from common procedures and surgeries.

I believe there will always be a niche for the hard to find and discontinued items that used to be so easy for me to find.
The problem then will be being approved for those categories where you have found a hard to find or discontinued item.
Predictions anyone?

* Amazon Central / July 2018 Amazon Storage Monitor
« on: July 02, 2018, 07:28:26 PM »
I found today when working up a shipment to the warehouse...
I have a storage monitor.
It's helpful.
Does it take up the bottom of the page?
Do I think Amazon is testing?
Do I think Amazon will update it's location and info?
Not too worried about the storage monitor, it does make me aware of how much cubic feet I have at the warehouse and how many oversize items I have.
This will be worked out.
Here ya go...
Take control of your Inventory Performance Index

Jun 29, 2018
Use the Seller Central Inventory Performance Dashboard to improve the key factors influencing your FBA Inventory Performance Index (IPI). The dashboard shows you how these factors – excess inventory, stranded inventory, sell-through rate, and in-stock rate – influence your score, and suggests actions you can take to improve your IPI.
I have never seen a more ignorant buncha new sellers posting questions to the Amazon Seller Forums in my entire time with Amazon.
Some of the questions make me wonder if they have their full faculties or not.

Me = Old Dawg and hates new tricks

No date, but if Amazon has the pop-up window to alert us, then it's time.
* Amazon Central / Feedback May 2018
« on: May 16, 2018, 08:45:46 AM »
Received a negative.
Negative was for condition of item when received.
Normally this is a strike through but with feedback still remaining to be seen.

Notified Amazon.

This time is different.
No strike through on the number feedback nor was the typical message from Amazon placed on the feedback.. ---->Message from Amazon: "This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfillment experience."

I believe so.

The percentage of the feedback isn't worth a flip.

Learn about our new policy on buyer feedback
May 8, 2018
Effective May 8, if you ship an order on time using Buy Shipping, and the buyer leaves seller feedback solely related to delayed or not received deliveries, you can request to have the impact of the feedback removed from your feedback rating.

A line will appear through the feedback with the following statement highlighting you were not at fault when the request was approved:

“The fulfillment issues associated with this order were not due to the seller.”
