Adorable! Sounds like she may have to bundle up and start working inside the walk-in fridge to keep the modelling chocolate from melting!  ;)

(No kiddos or iPhone, etc for me, but I am a James Patterson fan. I saw this today, and thought I'd pass it on for others who may be interested.) :h0161

I don't have an e-reader, but wonder how this news flash will affect Nook users?

 :-( :-(
Such sad news reported a few minutes ago.
http://worldblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/03/21/6313764-family-mourns-american-teachers-death-in-japan
That's is the first confirmed death of an American citizen. She was only 24, which is the same age as our Amanda.  :-(
I had seen an interview with her parents on CNN several days ago, as they were desperately trying to get in contact with her. My prayers are with her family and friends, and all those who have lost someone to this tragedy.

I agree, Donna, their loss is unimaginable to me, and they are facing such a long, hard recovery for their nation.

Here's the best source of breaking news on this incident that I've found:

Thanks! I grew up watching WGN in northern Illinois, waaay before cable tv and 24 hour news centers!

I can't think of a better family than yours to share their love with the young people who need it. I applaud you and Steve for making this decision, as well as your own children as I know that they were certainly included and appoved it also. :heartB

I don't feel this is a subject that warrants humor or pointing of fingers, people have lost lives and loved ones...but that's just my opinion.

My deepest sympathies to those that have lost loved ones.
Sending strength to Japan during this horrible emergency.

Agree with SJ.

(I've been to the one at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, many times. I grew up in a small town, an hour north of Chicago, and just LOVED the Museum.)

Check with your local hardware store, ours has wet-dry vacs for rent, and they will load them into the car, etc for us. (Can you tell we've needed them before? :(

This is probably not a good time to mention that I'm planting my veggie garden this weekend?

I don't even like you, you know.
