Love this from the comments - somebody's take on Wells Fargo's comment:

"We could have handled Mr. Rodgers very unusual situation better," translates to, "We didn't think we'd actually get caught for screwing people over."

 :up

And I too agree that some steampunked goggles or even a gas mask could only have enhanced his pic  ;)

Ain't that the truth.  Wells Fargo is screwing us over right now and it appears there is nothing we can do about it :(

Do they hold your mortgage, D? They hold the note on our car loan. Maybe houses are different, but I haven't seen any shenanigans with the car loan so far. And hope we don't.

Yes on my house for 11 years now, problems started about a year ago.  Not something I want to discuss on a public forum but my payment just about tripled.

Realizing there will be no discussion here, I still can't help saying that this almost made me swallow my tongue.  Good LORD.   :-X

Maybe you should contact the guy in the articile and ask him if he'd like to help you foreclose on another Wells Fargo.
I'm guessing that Wells Fargo is goign to at least try o get him to sign something saying he won't share the information he learn about how to do this.  Hopefully he'll tell them to stick that idea.

All the best to you and yours, Danielle.

OMG, D!  :o  :o  :o I don't expect details, but I am truly sorry and pray you find a solution. If my house payment even doubled, we would walk away. There is no way we could do it.

My bank recently changed to Wells Fargo, therefore I will be changing banks this weekend. They are the worst I have ever dealt with. I just keep an account to cash checks and pay bills. I keep no balance other than that, all of my money is in my house. Don't get any ideas either if you come into my house you will be shot.
