True. True.
I'm seeing success on eBay.
No issues, prompt payment and I'm ungated in every category.
I don't have all my eggs in one basket.

I am seeing more and more success on eBay. I am hoping the holidays will really kick it into high gear for sales there.

Wouldn't that be nice, to see an uptick on eBay sales during the holidays?
It's Christmas in July in a few days.
I have some items to put up and not in the least bit worried about them or not.
Have you been given the opportunity of 200 free listings a month?
I'm glad you're seeing eBay as a viable solution.

Yes, I have been offered the 200 free listings but I haven't had the need to use them yet. As I put more stuff up there, I just might need those extra listings. I hope they're still available when I do need them.

eBay is doing lots of advertising to get its customers back.
Funny thing is, their medium of choice appears to be radio.

I've  used about 50 of the 200 free additional listings. I'll be adding some more stuff this week now that I'm somewhat caught up.  Had to drop off some stuff at the UPS store to be scanned since my printer/scanner will only do 8.5x14 max. I looked up the cost of a flatbed scanner for my needs. Minimum $2,000 and the decent ones are well over $3,000. No thanks. UPS has a customer for life! ha!

Have seen quite a few tv ads for eBay.
I like the ads.
The ads I've seen are mostly for clothing...rebranding themselves.

I have lots of vintage, rare, hard to find clothing pieces I need to pictures taken.

I sold one of my husband's Brooks Brothers men's long sleeve shirts that was just hanging in the back of the closet.
I also sold 3 pieces of clothing I thrifted in plus size for a .50 a piece.
For those of you that thrift/garage sale...Plus size clothing does real well on eBay.
I sold a ROKU GR-14 remote that I found when cleaning out a drawer...in like new condition.
Sold several books on eBay...Amazon charges an arm and leg to sell books now.
I started on Amazon selling books and it was easy, peasy...not so much any longer.
I'll just put them up on eBay.

I'm approved in DVD's on Amazon, but thinking of putting what few I have left up on ebay.

I've seen the eBay ads. I've also noticed Amazon ratcheting up their advertising as well. I guess they need more suckers customers to buy their cheap Chinese junk.

Good for you for cleaning out the closets and making some dough.

I've been selling a LOT of DVDs on eBay since we had the first free removal April 18th. Been cranking out around 15-20 a week. Barely  makes a dent in the approximately 1,400 - 1,500 I removed for free though. Come August 1, I'll send one unit of each title back in and see if it increases my sell-through rate. I'll leave them at a higher price so I don't aggravate another seller's repricer. I'll just discount them for business customers to get them moving. Tired of the race to the bottom.

Have you considered looking into selling the DVDs as a lot?
Yep, I hear ya.
Race to the bottom.
Penny here, penny there...race to the bottom.

I've not seen any ads for Amazon except the flippin' Prime Day ads.
Guess I'm lucky!

Yes, I have. However, I would really hate to let everything go for 10-15 cents each.

I'd rather sit on them and sell them to get some decent cash flowing in. Some will be sold at a profit, many at a loss. I just want the cash so I can keep ordering (stuff other than DVDs of course).

The circle of life.
<smile>

I was on letgo.com last week and noted that a person had several LOTS of DVDs.
They are gone.
Might be an option.

They're selling fairly well on eBay. Once first of the year rolls around, I'll go through the inventory I have here and see what to do. I might get rid of them then but I want one more Christmas to try and make some cash.

Maybe I'll do what other sellers were doing Monday morning before Prime Day started: Jack up the prices.

Heh, I did that on a hot seller that my other two main competitors were out of stock and weren't available for shipping for almost a week. I made out like a bandit on that one. Sold around 35-40 units that day and made a couple hundred extra profit on the mark-up.

So glad you are doing well with eBay.
It's not a dead venue as some have said.
Just this week I purchased 4 items from them.
I have so much to list, hubby needs to get pics and measurements for me.
