Pretty much same experience here with banggood. If you set expectations super low, and keep in mind you cant return anything (you can but it will cost you more than you paid for the item) then you'll be mostly okay. One watch (an early 80s style digital) I bought was so bad it went in trash. Another (an analog watch) works fine.

Does it hurt retailers in the U.S.? Yes, but with so much bad stuff on those sites, imho ppl will get burned enough that they'll avoid the chinese sites for many purchases.
