So glad you are doing well with eBay.
It's not a dead venue as some have said.
Just this week I purchased 4 items from them.
I have so much to list, hubby needs to get pics and measurements for me.
Oh. My. Lord.
What the hell?

I hear ya. I love the small Mom and Pop hardware stores or as I said Ace Hardware.
I flat out refuse to use Home Depot.
I'll definitely use Lowes....
But, my 100% Go To Ace Hardware.
Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware to be exact.
Established 1955...Love the older gents that work the floor, they have explained to me more times than I can count how to move forward with a project.

Ace Hardware is my preference!
Thank you for reading them so we don't.
I think it would best in their best interest to offer to 3P sellers.
I like to think that it's coming.
As do those that advise me financially.
Remember it's not only Bezos but JP Morgan and Buffet.
Neither of those partners are slouches.
Thanks for your opinion.
It matches mine.

Many peeps search for a certain part?
Amazon knows what to start selling as versus neighborhood hardware stores.
You're right!
Nope, whining will still happen.

These have been around awhile.
But as per usual I'm such a small seller in the big ocean of Amazon Sellers, I just don't know about these types of additions.

What are Amazon Headline Search Ads?
Amazon made Headline Search Ads available to third party sellers in Seller Central. Up until this point Headline Search Ads were only available in Vendor Central through Amazon Marketing Services. If you use Seller Central you have likely noticed that Headline Search Ads are now available to you, but you might be wondering how exactly this type of advertising campaign works and how best to use it.

2018 Holiday Selling in Toys & Games on

Wow! Seems like the notifications keep getting earlier and earlier.

Dear Seller,

As a reminder, in order to maintain a great customer experience this holiday season, we have established holiday selling guidelines for the Toys & Games store.

Only the sellers who meet the criteria listed below will be eligible to sell in the Toys & Games category from October 17, 2018 through January 05, 2019.

•       Your first sale on has to occur prior to August 18, 2018. The sale does not need to be specific to the Toys & Games store.
•       You have to process and ship at least 25 orders from August 01, 2018 through October 01, 2018. The orders do not need to be specific to the Toys & Games store.
•       Your pre-fulfillment cancel rate for the period from September 01 through September 30, 2018 has to be lesser than 1.75%.
•       Your late shipment rate for the period from September 01 through September 30, 2018 has to be lesser than 4%.
•       Your order defect rate has to be lesser than 1% short term as of October 01, 2018.

Orders that use Fulfillment by Amazon will not be subjected to the above criteria provided your account is in good standing.

You can find your cancel rate, late shipment rate, and order defect rate in the Performance section of your seller account. If your account does not meet the above criteria, we encourage you to take corrective action to ensure your eligibility to sell in the Toys & Games category this holiday season.

Eligibility for selling in the Toys & Games store is determined separately for each country. If you sell in multiple marketplaces, your account will be evaluated for each country.

We will provide a final notification about your eligibility to sell in the Toys & Games store by October 11, 2018. Beginning October 17, 2018, we will monitor the performance and listings of the sellers who are approved to sell in Toys & Games store during the holiday season.

Amazon Services reserves the right to cancel listings, remove selling privileges, and prohibit the sale of specific products to maintain a great customer shopping experience.

Here are some steps you can take to remain eligible to sell in Toys & Games store throughout the holiday season:

•       Monitor your performance metrics and take corrective action when necessary.
•       Use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) to ship products to customers.
•       Check your orders frequently in the Manage Orders section of your account.
•       Minimize order cancellations and display the inventory for sale that is available to ship.
•       Ship orders and confirm the shipments in a timely manner.
•       Ensure your seller policies are up to date.
•       If you work with outside drop-shippers, solidify their SLA commitments for providing prompt shipping confirmation.

Thank you for selling on Amazon.

Amazon App Gets Part Finder Feature

For those times when you are faced with matching a fastener or screw you've never seen before and have no idea what search terms to use to find it.
Amazon will find it for you using your smartphone camera, a white surface, and a penny.

Sites were down yesterday that aren't normally down with 502 errors.

Yep, Bezos plays the long game.

Speaking to one of my son's this AM and..
Yep in his geek section of the internet... that's what they are all saying, DoS, DNS attack.
It affected the AWS area, too...that was the key he said.
It wasn't so much an attack on Amazon or it's sales as an attack on Bezos, owner of Washington Post.

Still staying in my little Amazon corner in FL and still thankful my sales were and continue to be good.
Second that!

Financial Advisor meeting last year he and I discussed the pharmaceutical deal along with how this would enable Bezos wish to partner with J. P. Morgan and Buffet for a new healthcare insurance provider.
Laying the groundwork so to speak.
First offering to employees, then to 3rd party sellers, then the public.
We discussed alot more than the above and.....

Fast forward this year.
Financial Advisor meeting to discuss yada yada yada and began to discuss how much of we talked about came true in the last year.
Let's just say what he and I discussed was 98% correct.
Whole Foods, Toys R Us, acquiring pharmaceutical companies, etc etc

In his sector, he said this acquisition is another layer moving forward.
He and my accountant don't even charge me an hourly fee to discuss Amazon (and ebay, brick and mortar vs ecommerce) with me.
Hubster sits there and enjoys listening to us throw out numbers, names, articles, etc to one another.
Not that I'm any kinda soothsayer, but I've just been doing this so very lonnnnnng.
My views as a seller, what I've been approved for, what I've come across, what new laws are on the books and how it affects we ecommerce/brick and mortar sellers.

We have predictions for next will be interesting to see how this moves forward.
The pill pack purchase alone for FL and nursing homes/assisted livings/independent living for seniors.
Big Business!
