Shhhh.
I did that on a good portion of what's left.
And yep, sold!

Amazon and start-up Xealth are planning a pilot where doctors would 'prescribe' products to be delivered after patients leave the hospital

Amazon, Providence and Xealth are working together on a pilot which could launch in months, according to two people familiar. <-----

The idea is to "prescribe" medical products and services to patients before they're discharged. The products would be fulfilled by Amazon or another e-commerce company, and Prime members could get discounts.

That helps Amazon court a new demographic: Those with complex medical conditions, new mothers, and people recovering from common procedures and surgeries.

My sales were up 3X what they have been.
Warehouse workers were standing/sitting around as they couldn't check items shipped in, couldn't pull items, couldn't pack items...everything down.
IT workers making killer overtime.
Would love to have been a fly on the wall.
Get. It. Fixed! Now.

One of the dark rumors going around is that hackers took the site and the AWS sites down with attacks when they knew it would be at it's busiest as a message to Bezos.
ACK!
Makes sense but I'll just stay in my little corner in FL and thankful my sales were really good!

I just want the cash so I can keep ordering (stuff other than DVDs of course).

The circle of life.
<smile>

I was on letgo.com last week and noted that a person had several LOTS of DVDs.
They are gone.
Might be an option.

Shameful those are allowed to be sold at all.

Wait a minute...
At 7:49pm, I was able to sign into buying account and successfully checked out items I had placed in my cart.

WHOOP WHOOP!
Hopefully other buyers are able to do the same.

Nyuck Nyuck.

Have tried to sign into our family buying account since 3:00...
No go!

The sales we are all losing!
I did receive email notice of items to ship (seller fulfilled).
How those buyers were even able to sign in...I don't know.

Get it together, Amazon!
I was able to get into the Amazon Seller Forums.

First posting I see: We are aware that Seller Central is experiencing intermittent login issues. If you receive an error message, please try to login again. We are working to resolve this issue quickly.

Wondering whether all those websites that Amazon hosts are up and running.

Have you considered looking into selling the DVDs as a lot?
Yep, I hear ya.
Race to the bottom.
Penny here, penny there...race to the bottom.

I've not seen any ads for Amazon except the flippin' Prime Day ads.
Guess I'm lucky!

That music on the video.
ACK!

My fav comment:
If you need tech advice from Yahoo you have bigger problems.

Seriously though, why would they even comment on this:
'if you see a deal on a Huawei and ZTE smart phone'

Both of those smart phones have been banned from being sold at military bases due to security reasons.
Yes, I know...someone from a non-US based military base can still buy them...but why even acknowledge them in the article?

"This latest move from the Pentagon shows that the United States isn't done pushing Huawei and ZTE as far away as possible' May 18th, 2018

FOCUS!

Bump.
Tomorrow is the day.
<shrug>
Hopefully, this will clean out inventory that I have marked down.

Have seen quite a few tv ads for eBay.
I like the ads.
The ads I've seen are mostly for clothing...rebranding themselves.

I have lots of vintage, rare, hard to find clothing pieces I need to pictures taken.

I sold one of my husband's Brooks Brothers men's long sleeve shirts that was just hanging in the back of the closet.
I also sold 3 pieces of clothing I thrifted in plus size for a .50 a piece.
For those of you that thrift/garage sale...Plus size clothing does real well on eBay.
I sold a ROKU GR-14 remote that I found when cleaning out a drawer...in like new condition.
Sold several books on eBay...Amazon charges an arm and leg to sell books now.
I started on Amazon selling books and it was easy, peasy...not so much any longer.
I'll just put them up on eBay.

I'm approved in DVD's on Amazon, but thinking of putting what few I have left up on ebay.

Found this info on another forum I belong to.
I'm not here recommending the below information, I'm just passing it along.
My advice is you meet or discuss this with your accountant before considering.

Open a Taxjar account and wait for the email that says they are done calculating your tax.

See what states they found you have Nexus in. (States were Amazon had stored your stuff in their warehouse.)

Open your account in each state.

Tell them you just opened your business or pay back to when you did open it.

Open accounts in all of those states.

Use the number the states give you to enter into Amazon so they start collecting tax for you.

Start sending the tax money to each state according to the schedule they give you (monthly to annually).

Use the Taxjar amount to know how much to send.
Note Taxjar will do that for you, for a fee.

One person posted 3 to 5 years.
I believe there will always be a niche for the hard to find and discontinued items that used to be so easy for me to find.
The problem then will be being approved for those categories where you have found a hard to find or discontinued item.
Predictions anyone?
My money is on 5 years.

* Amazon Central / July 2018 Amazon Storage Monitor
« on: July 02, 2018, 07:28:26 PM »
I found today when working up a shipment to the warehouse...
I have a storage monitor.
It's helpful.
Does it take up the bottom of the page?
Yes.
Do I think Amazon is testing?
Yes.
Do I think Amazon will update it's location and info?
Yes.
Not too worried about the storage monitor, it does make me aware of how much cubic feet I have at the warehouse and how many oversize items I have.
This will be worked out.

Harmful Feedback & Criminal Defamation: LEGAL ASPECTS

For those of that go far back with eBay and selling.. I can well remember back in the day the sellers that would post this same type of useless thread on the eBay forums.

Here ya go...
Take control of your Inventory Performance Index

Jun 29, 2018
Use the Seller Central Inventory Performance Dashboard to improve the key factors influencing your FBA Inventory Performance Index (IPI). The dashboard shows you how these factors – excess inventory, stranded inventory, sell-through rate, and in-stock rate – influence your score, and suggests actions you can take to improve your IPI.
