Amazon refunded a customer an order from almost 120 days ago

Customer Service Gripe:
Refunded customer for an order that was close to 120 days old.
Accepted item back into my inventory that was a food item.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Sheesh. And I thought I was the only one getting weird customer refunds (mine was given for a purchase made in 2015).

AND I know I mentioned this...but...it's a flippin' food item.
Which is against Amazon's policy to be accepted for return.

I'm not happy.
Not happy in the least bit.

Countless tickets into Amazon Support and they are telling me I have to eat the cost.

Amazon Seller Support broke their own rules by accepting a return for a food item on an order that was close to 120 days old...this is wrong in so many ways.

Amazon wants to accept the return, then they should eat the cost...not the seller.

Upgraded ticket has now been upgraded by Amazon to another team.
Not rocket science.
It's a food item, that was purchased now 120 days ago that Amazon should not have accepted as a return due to their own rules/regs.
They should eat the cost.

Especially if it is an FBA item. We shouldn't be paying for anything.

Nope.
Another refund!
Customer received flattened.
FLATTENED!
3 ticket now to Seller Support/Team Leader.
Not happy!
AND I received a dadgum negative to boot from the customer.

Who are these people they are training?
Who are the people training the Seller Support?

It would be one thing if I weren't a 'seasoned' seller and merely accepted this...but I KNOW the rules!

I sat through an invited to webinar the other day re: International Shipping FBA
Uhhhhh, if they can't get my USA FBA correct, International would be a nightmare.
