Excerpt:

In its latest discount roll-out since acquiring Whole Foods in 2017, Amazon announced on Tuesday it will offer 5% back to some Amazon credit card holders.

In conjunction with Whole Foods and Chase, Amazon has announced it will give 5% back on Whole Foods purchases made with the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa card and 3% back for the non-Prime version of the card.

* Amazon Central / Amazon FBA Checklist Manual (Step-by-Step)
« on: February 21, 2018, 10:34:54 AM »
Pretty Pretty Good List for anyone looking to start an Amazon business or to sharpen up your presence as a 3rd party seller.

Hey Reddit!

I have created an Amazon FBA Checklist that breaks down the frameworks of what it really looks like to get started selling on Amazon FBA! I've been using a modified version of this for a while now, but I decided to officially make a new one with more details so I can share it with everyone. This checklist will serve you as a basic guideline for the entire Amazon FBA process, and it has helped me countless times.

If you like, you can download this entire PDF for free here (disclosure: it links to my site to download), however, you can find the entire text below, which should be good enough to copy and paste it into a Word Document for personal use!

I am working to make this PDF better, so please let me know what helped you or what you would like to see more of in the comments.

Wishing you all the best,

Erik

Update:
Could be used for their apps/games.
We recently bought a new 10" Fire.
Downloaded games.
Found that once level was achieved, you can only go to next tier by buying coins.
Why not let us buy the game with all the flipping levels?
Whaddya think? Could be tied in.

BTW, games have been deleted.
Could sideload games from Google Play but <rolling eyes> C'mon Amazon.

Unpacking Amazon.com and its Prime economy
How Amazon's focus on fast shipping in the United States, customer loyalty and new technologies combined with aggressive expansion into other industries continues to pay off.

Updated FBA fee preview now available
Feb 5, 2018

You can now compare your current FBA fulfillment fees with the new rates that take effect on February 22, 2018. To preview your estimated fulfillment fees, you can use the FBA Revenue Calculator or the Fee Preview report.

For more information on the 2018 U.S. FBA fee changes, go to www.amazon.com/fba-fee-changes

Footnote:
As many of you know, I'm slowly backing off the amount of biz that I do with Amazon.
Closing in on retirement.
Anyhooo... I've sold so much self-fulfill that it does make me think I should be moving in that direction. Or at least half warehouse/half self-fullfill.

You?
Offensive?
Say it ain't so.

So the default name is the seller's store name.
When I clicked into the forums, it stated my name was my store name or I could change it right then and there.

I can't.
I just can't on the new forums.
Hi, My name is Donna and I'm an old dawg.

Dear Gawd!

I don't know which is more pain inducing...
Your description or the new seller forum design.

Is it true that the current posting count a day is 10? Or is it 18?
Masking of your seller names, too.

I can't make heads or tails out of it.
Well, I could if I wanted to give it my time.

Bring them all over here, I'll glady have them!

Moved it to it's own thread for SEO reasons.

Pretty Pretty.
I have one item in mind and will purchase this week.
I love opals and I'm a minimalist and dainty jewelry lover.
No overly large gems for my jewelry for me cept the one on my ring finger.

Thanks for passing along.

BTW, Gimme a few days and I'll post her shop to my blog.
If anybody else has a free-standing website, etsy, handmade or other type item...lemme know.
I'm your go-to for posting we businesses working together.

When I purchase an item on say...Etsy...
I have a choice of Apple Pay, entering my own cc, or using Paypal.
I use Paypal because that is what I will always choose when given an option.
My cc number plus the cvs number are still blocked with only Paypal being the go-between.

I used to receive alot of payments via Google Checkout back in the day from website purchases.
I did receive more Paypal, but the option was great to be able to offer my customers.

Things that make me giggle...hahaha..Amazon Payments? On eBay?

That being said, I think this is great.
If a seller has their own merchant account they should be able to use it.
Often times those are negotiated rates for the merchant.

As I'm phasing out a little year by year, I'm going to continue to use Paypal only as my means of payment.
From the article:

PayPal will still be a payments provider option for eBay, but it won’t be processing certain transactions — transactions that involve entering your credit card information, for instance — as it had previously. (my input, I've never had to enter my cc number for any transaction on eBay. NEVER. Nor have my customers)

“This was always the plan since PayPal and eBay separated,” Ready emphasized, referring to eBay’s spin-off of PayPal into its own publicly-traded company in 2015.

PayPal reported adjusted fourth quarter 2017 earnings of 55 cents a share on revenue of $3.74 billion — up 26% year-over-year. For the full year of 2018, PayPal forecasts profit of $2.27 per share with revenue between $15 billion and $15.25 billion, compared with analysts’ estimates of $15.16 billion.

It’s also worth noting that while eBay transactions currently account for 13% of PayPal’s overall payments volume, that number is steadily declining, according to PayPal. And while eBay’s revenue from marketplaces continue to grow by 4%, that number is downright anemic when compared to median growth of marketplace competitors, which are growing at a 50% year-over-year clip. (yes, true true true...but there is still a market there...it's my bent and dent shop or my place to sell if I'm not approved in a category)
