I had to look at it THREE times to insure I wasn't losing my fuhhhlippin mind.

Yes, that's right.
Customer Support refunded a customer from September 2017.
Amazon fulfilled purchase and shows no tracking info on page from Amazon.

As of this evening, I am seeing the message in bold across the top of my excess inventory page that states FREE REMOVAL.

Screenshots are equal to Covering my arse.

just read article from WSJ that sounds a little hopeful. According to the article, Justice Sotomayor said that throwing out Quill would create a whole new set of problems.  And, that Justice Alito also wasn't convinced, saying that overruling Quill could invite states to make more aggressive moves. "Do you have any doubt that states that are tottering on the edge of insolvency and municipalities which may be in even worse position have a strong incentive to grab everything they possibly can?"

But, Justice Kennedy and Justice Ginsburg have both said that perhaps it's time to reconsider Quill and that with the internet, things have changed.   Justice Kagan recognizes that many sellers use 3rd party's such as Amazon to process their sales and that it wouldn't be a stretch to have them handling the taxes, but finds it, ". . . a little bit ironic in saying the problem with Quill is that it benefited all these companies, so now we’re going to overturn Quill so that we can benefit the exact same companies.”

You should be okay and not be charged for the removals.

I had an issue with the homepage and inventory management pages on the night it went down for everyone. I haven't had any issues since.

Persons posting that issues are still existing.
I'm seeing new tweaks to home Seller Central, nothing major.
I'm also able to work in my inventory, pull items for free removal and upload new items.

Hope that all are able to get work done.

More late yesterday removed.
I'm taking screen-shots of every removal with date/time of removal request.
Normally, there is a notice that there is free removal noted on the last page, this time nada.
Same ole message as has normally there referring to charges that pertain to removal.

Covered myself by screenshots.
Fingers Crossed.

270+ items removed yesterday.
Glad I was able to get the removal before Seller Central went down for hours and hours and hours.
And still down for some.

Seller Central down for anyone else? Or just me?

Noted this last night when I signed in before hitting the hay.
I have no idea how long it lasted, but my head hit the pillow hoping Seller Central would be up and running this AM.
Looks like Inventory was able to be accessed 5 hours ago.

Wondering what changes are coming?

Edited to add: Some sellers aren't able to sign into their Seller Central yet.
Some sellers are able to sign in (myself being one) and are seeing some changes as I predicted.
I haven't looked to see if there are any major changes...but will report back.

The op-ed in Friday's WSJ as well as letters to the editor were quite good regarding the Wayfair v South Dakota. I've been following it closely as time gets closer to the expected June ruling.
