I fought this when it happened.
The DAY that it happened.
Forums hadn't even noticed and I was livid.

I received a note that my ticket was answered and that feedback was back to normal.

Wonder what Amazon was testing out....Hmmmmm?

I detest their feedback system, it sucks

You've found that tidbit out about eBay.

It's just out of the norm to have it removed and not struck through.
Amazon's feedback system is whack.

Received a negative.
Negative was for condition of item when received.
Normally this is a strike through but with feedback still remaining to be seen.

Notified Amazon.
Removed.

This time is different.
No strike through on the number feedback nor was the typical message from Amazon placed on the feedback.. ---->Message from Amazon: "This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfillment experience."

New?
I believe so.

The percentage of the feedback isn't worth a flip.

I have been thinking of opening a 'store' again...
100+ inventory has always been my bottom line for laying out $40.00 a month to eBay for a store.
AND since I'm getting those 100 free (don't know if you've been offered that) listings...I've opted to stick with this for now.

That's not to say having a store is a bad idea...
Not in the least.

What is great about having a store is the name, your eBay url, categories, buy it now, auctions, keywords, the ability to list in any category, cleaning out your home of so-called 'collectibles, selling 'lots' of items works out great.
Within the last months I've sold a new in bag McDonald's Happy Meal Toy from the mid 70's for a nice little profit, several homemade soy candles, Paul Revere Copper Kettle, Christmas Candy, Christmas decorations, Easter Candy and egg coloring kits, clothing, Mother's Day Bath and Beauty set and books.

I've been doing fairly well on eBay and with no listing fees and less in final value... why not?

I'm glad you're seeing some success on eBay.

May 8, 2018
Effective May 8, if you ship an order on time using Buy Shipping, and the buyer leaves seller feedback solely related to delayed or not received deliveries, you can request to have the impact of the feedback removed from your feedback rating.

A line will appear through the feedback with the following statement highlighting you were not at fault when the request was approved:

“The fulfillment issues associated with this order were not due to the seller.”

He finished off the blurb with a glowing title (“The perfect case!!”) and rated the product a perfect five stars. Click. Submitted.

Jake never tried the case. He doesn’t even have an iPhone.

Jake then copied the link to his review and pasted it into an invite-only Slack channel for paid Amazon reviewers. A day later, he received a notification from PayPal, alerting him to a new credit in his account: a $10 refund for the phone case he’ll never use, along with $3 for his trouble — potentially more, if he can resell the iPhone case.

The canes were out of the sealed wrapped candy canes.
Damaged to the point of powder in the bottom of the box.
These were Raspberry... So they would've been decent sprinkles for chocolate ice-cream.
