I like the way you think in regards to this matter.

Thanks for posting the article.

I was reading yesterday about Amazon's 'maybe' 'perhaps' might be buying Kohl's and Target.
I had assumed that Amazon would move forward with the purchase of Kohl's now that they are 'officially' in the stores. (local AZ returns available)

The talk around town is that Amazon wants the young woman purchase power.
Supposedly it is one of the reasons Amazon purchased Whole Foods. (merely one of the reasons)

Target would get them the coveted youg mother demographics.

Both good reasons to go forward with purchasing.
Not good reasons for upping our fees.

Letting the domain go www.auctionsellersmotivators.com

This forum initially started way back when we were all doing eBay and other auction sites.
It was a wonderful alternative to the Sparedollar forums and was private by invitation only.
Memories.

I'm not paying to renew it.
Had thought of putting it up for sale on eBay (an auction site) as there are no takers on GoDaddy auctions.
Any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
Or if you want the domain, I'll give it to any of our longtime members.

Unless any of you would like to have the domain, I'm going to let it go.
I think I already have every domain forwarded over to this domain...but just in case.
Be sure to bookmark www.ecommercesellersmotivators.com

I'm mentoring a new seller.
Four months and it's her first holiday season...she survived!
HA!

She mentioned that an erroneous credit came through and didn't know what it was for.
Yep.
The B2B credit.

I believe it will hit more often come the New Year.

I had this happen last year to one shipment.
They found the one shipment weeks after Christmas when the items wouldn't and didn't sell.
I paid to have them returned.

I'm blessed not to ever have to been required to show invoices. I have them, but darn it would've been a bear to find them.
I've read of others nightmares with invoices and Amazon.

Two shipments lost after being delivered.
Two entire shipments to the Maryland warehouse.
Boxes packed to the nth degree.
Fought tooth and nail to receive credit.

Seller Support...don't get me started.
What about the sellers who don't know how 'Amazon' used to run and this type of incident was handled much more smoothly?

Anyway...
Reconcilation funds have arrived.
FINALLY!

I will probably not send anymore shipments to Maryland until this is straightened out.
The seller forum boards were not pleased with Maryland.

To all the warehouse workers with Amazon:
Thank you for the smooth transition of getting my items received and into my inventory fast.
Rest because you deserve it.

Didja see the new fees that are coming up?

I've been out of town since Monday (hubby's 1st appointment with the transplant team...went real well) and need to catch up with EVERYTHING!

I'll post later as I saw it in headlines.

You're going to be factored into the B2B no matter what come January.
I argued this with them and was told...Oh well, it's automatic come January.
<sigh>

Nothing.
Absolutely, positively nothing.
Amazon messages change hourly on the two shipments.
No record of shipment having arrived and must wait for confirmation from partnered shipping.
OR...
My items are between fulfillment centers and I need to wait.
Ummmm...NOPE!
You state my shipments have arrived.
USPS clarifies the shipments were delivered.
Stop flipping the messages.

Supposedly I'm supposed to see some reconciliation of funds at some point or so they say.
<eye roll>

HO HO HO!

I know. I know.
I look back over the 10 years I've been with Amazon and go WHOA!
All of this in 10 years?
And then I think....I helped Amazon build this!
<mind blown>

Hubby and I were still talking about this yesterday.
Amazon can sell to one of my items to one of these buyers.
Not get a dime for my item to pay me for it.
And I have to wait in the hopes that they pay a 30 day invoice.

* Amazon Central / Amazon Reserved Inventory Link
« on: December 16, 2017, 11:01:13 AM »
Have you ever wondered if an item in inventory is reserved for a sale, in transit to another warehouse or

Here's your link:
Amazon Reserved Inventory

Help / Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) / FBA business reports / Inventory Reports / Reserved Inventory

Inventory in reserved status may be tied to a customer order, in the process of being shipped between fulfillment centers, or sidelined at a fulfillment center for additional processing. The Reserved Inventory Report provides real-time data about the number of reserved units in your inventory. Units can be in reserved status for the following reasons:

Customer Order – These units are being used to fulfill customer orders.
FC Transfer – These units are being transferred from one fulfillment center to another to place the inventory closer to customers. Units in FC Transfer status are available for customers to buy. Customers may be shown a future ship date if no other units are available for immediate fulfillment. Transfers typically take 1-5 days to complete, but in some case may take up to 30 days.
FC Processing – These units have been sidelined at the fulfillment center for additional processing, such as verification of item dimensions and weight or pending investigations.

Heard from Team Leader and was asked to put off reconcilation under the 20th.
Nope.
Asked the ticket to be updated to Supervisor.

Changes to Marketplace Tax Collections

Beginning on January 1, 2018, Amazon will calculate, collect, and remit sales tax on third-party seller sales shipped to Washington State.
Washington is the first state to enact legislation requiring online marketplaces, like Amazon, to collect sales tax on behalf of their third-party sellers.
We will automatically take these actions for your Washington orders; you don’t need to update your tax collection settings or account information.

Oh Dear Lawd!
Worked up a shipment today and one of them goes to MD!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
I'm cancelling it.
I'm not taking any chances.
Just self-fulfill the almost 100 items or cancel the shipment and hope that it goes to another warehouse.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Update:

I understand that you want to know more about the Amazon Services LLC (beta) tab how some Business Buyers use a different disbursement cycle than your regular disbursement cycle and also if Amazon signed you up for this.

The reason to this is that Certain orders from business customers need to be recorded by Amazon under separate legal entities (Amazon Payments Inc. and Amazon Services LLC), so these transactions are displayed separately. You will continue to be paid in the bank account you have designated. Any orders reflecting under the Amazon Services LLC payments tab are orders in which an approved business buyer purchased an item and paid by invoice.

Invoices have payment terms (such as net 30), which determine the due date of the invoice (30 days after invoice date in case of net 30). Amazon credits sellers on their Selling on Amazon account for these orders when the buyer has paid the invoice.

Furthermore, Amazon supports the risk and pays sellers in case buyer payment has not been received 7 days past the due date of the invoice. You will continue to receive payments based on your current payment cycle.

For example, if you are on a 14-day cycle and you receive an order on January 1, the payment for this order will be initiated on January 15. However, since the cycle is based on when the orders are placed by the customer, the payments from these two different entities (Amazon Payments Inc. and Amazon Services LLC) may land on different days.

I've had 2 boxes of inventory shipped to Baltimore Amazon Warehouse.
They have been delivered.
This is both verified on my Seller Dashboard, UPS, the warehouse and via Seller Support.

Oh, did I mention that December 1st and they have been sitting on Amazon's Baltimore Dock since the 1st of December?

I'm not alone.

Thread: Baltimore Warehouse

I've been advised to wait to file reconciliation until the 16th.
And we all know that often doesn't go as planned.

From the thread I learned something new.
Anyone know if you incur storage fees for packages that were delivered but not checked in?
Yes, you start paying for storage as soon as the box is marked delivered, I believe.

True?
I don't know but I'm asking Seller Support.

This happened to me last year and I fought it tooth and nail.
Shipment found in January and all my holiday seasonal items were placed into my inventory....way too late.

This doesn't bode well for me or my inventory.
