I would rather slide down a stripper pole full of razor blades into a bucket of rubbing alcohol than to use the "new and improved" forums.

So just stop whining and contact your buyer and educate them of Amazon's policies.   :h0035

Until it directly impacts the bottom line,

It will. Counterfeits put eBay in the toilet.

I've tried with Amazon to report them. They... Just. Don't. Care.

Counterfeit gold is all over it.

I've had several long time members offer to help me restore them. If you: right click > view image the real image will come up, might have to refresh because of caching. It can then be saved and uploaded to my forum.

These are members with 6,7,8000 posts that I trust completely. I can give each one a specific forum to do and make them a moderator of that forum to work on it. It will take a while, but we'll get it done.

I have an additional 400GB disk scheduled for install on my server next week and we will map just the upload folder to it and move all the current images. So images will have their very own disk.

@Scoot...Made me laugh.

My members have started calling it PhotoSuckit.

No advance notice at all.

You know now also that all the other free services are watching to see how photobucket fares with this move.  ???

Photobucket has decided that you now have to pay $400 a year to have your images show up anywhere except their pathetically slow ad riddled site.

Effective 5 minutes ago photobucket is no longer be allowed on my forums.

This is what's showing up for your images now if you use Photobucket and haven't paid the ransom.
Sounds similar to what Black and Decker did years ago. A bunch of product was written off and supposed to be destroyed but was repackaged and sold. Big trouble.

I tried with amazon about a year ago with the fake gold bars and they couldn't care less. Plated bars that say .999 fine gold on them and they said it's fine.  ???

Wonder why the chinese are so interested in the coin category more so than others... $$$ is the answer I'm sure.

Easy money. They put up Carson City Morgan dollars which even fairly circulated are worth hundreds of dollars. They put a BIN for 39.95 with 10 available and stoopid (greed induced) people flock to them.

I get an email within 60 seconds of them being listed, I redirect the email to my eBay exec and if he is at his desk, they are shut down in less than 5 minutes.

They're rampant on eBay too. People are stoopid and fall for phishing emails ALL the time. They are so easy to set up, I could literally set up a perfect fake ebay logon page that emails me credentials in 5 minutes. It's that easy for any competent webmaster.

The Chinese do this in the coins category. They email, through eBay, accounts that have no activity for say 4-5 months and tell them their account will be cancelled if it's dormant for 6 months. The send a link to the fake page and tell them if they must log in to stop the cancellation.

They save stolen accounts up for a few months then launch Morgan dollar listings all at once on hundreds of accounts. I'm really pissing them off though, I get their accounts whacked within 24 hours. They're too stupid to give up on the coin category.

I'm sure they do it on Amazon too. There's tons of fake gold bars on there, but I don't send multi-millions of dollars in sales there every year so they don't listen to me.

I chose Pinterest over Instagram because it's a TON more versatile. I'm going to dive into their API pretty soon since they are converting well.

My Royal Canadian Mint board alone makes me about $100/month. I'm getting 60-80 repins a week and it continues to grow.

I already use the API for Facebook and have many pages that are automated.

Not a bad article, most of these SEO bloggers really suck and have no clue what they're talking about. The only thing I really disagree with is her pushing Google+ because it's really dead. I'm surprised Google hasn't shut it down yet. Facebook by far is the best engaging social media.

I set a specific session variable when a session opens from Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, or Google+. This way I can study the sessions from beginning to end.

Bounce Rates
Facebook: 3.76%
Youtube: 7.14%
Pinterest: 16.35%
Twitter: 82.78%
Google+: 96.76%

Pretty clear who the big boys are.

Facebook sessions average a whopping 8.6 pages per session visited.

I got it working, as usual I was making it harder than it needed to be.

Got a nice short url system working now for my forum topics, forums, and categories...

Sad thing is I think I had it *right* several days ago just in the wrong spot in the file.  ???

I have many Facebook pages that drive a lot of traffic to my forum. I use the Facebook API a good bit to autopost from custom feeds.
WoW, ever looked at the crap on AliExpress?

They pump literally tons of counterfeit silver and gold into this country every month. Not to mention counterfeit everything else... coins, handbags, watches, sunglasses... etc.

Anyone that uses Auctiva or Vendio for anything at all is supporting this. AliExpress owns both of them.
