Accessories for the hot toys do really, REALLY well.
All those aunts, uncles, grandparents, godparents etc want to buy gifts and since the " big" hot toy has already been purchased...
That leaves the accessories.
Not every hot item has accessories, do your homework.

Well, they don't reference Frozen directly at least. Did they succeed in getting rid of the Frozen counterfeiters? I don't pay attention to toys category at all.

Also this might be related, but I don't get the frenzy at all. It came out over a >year ago<

I dont get the frenzy either.  Sure, I can see the kids wanting a frozen doll or some other frozen item, but it's beyond ridiculous at this point. I mean, every single thing out there has a frozen version.  My niece even bought a frozen branded toy scooter on thansgiving *shaking head*

Agree with Suthern - accessories are often where it's at.  I've seen many a hot item end up going for dirt cheap, due to market saturation, whereas the accessories. . .

Goodness that linked toy is just awful that you posted Dude.
I just don't understand the frenzy.
I mean I do understand a person's want to fulfill their child's wish, but I don't understand the frenzy to give them an item that is not what the want with a cheap and cheap looking similar item.
