Hate needles?
« on: March 27, 2012, 06:31:28 PM »
Normally, I don't have a problem with them, but since they started poking my upper arm, well, dammit, they HURT!

If you have a low level of pincushion, ask if you can get some prescription Lidocaine 2.5% and Prilocaine 2.5% cream.

About an hour before, just dab it on where they'd gonna needle ya, and you shouldn't feel a thing.

Ok, why didn't you tell me this thirteen years ago? I poked myself for 8 straight years and never knew that trick. Good idea!

AWESOME Timing, BF!
I'll pass this along to my daughter...
Seems like this would be a no-brainer...should be done to all patients.

just put a light bead over the area, try to give it an hour to work in (do not try to rub it in), cover with a bandage so it doesn't end up on clothing.
