Problems listing on IF with chrome
« on: February 24, 2011, 03:35:02 PM »
Anybody else listing on IF using chrome?  A few days ago the problem started - I'll be working away and suddenly won't be able to save, launch, or schedule.

Yes, I know I can switch to another browser, I just don't want to  ;)

And I did venture in to the IF forums - eek!  yikes! - and posted there, but it looks pretty vacant.  I felt my post echoooooooooo down the hallway

I use chrome with IF. I haven't had any problems. I'll try listing today and see what happens.

Last night they were unreachable with any browser.  You could get to their front page just not log in and if you could log in then you couldn't see Live, Sold, etc. listings.

I tried IE, FF and Chrome.

Thanks y'all.  I went back to using firefox for IF - I had stopped when it was glitching so badly, but apparently mozilla fixed it because it's working fine.  I remember the techs at IF used to always recommend firefox.

Chrome is doing a couple of other weird things, not connected to IF.  I really like it, so I'll try to wait it out  ;)

I'm a fellow lover of Chrome.
Have you reported inconsistencies to Google re: Chrome?

The new download for the faster beta Google 10 is up and running.
Might wanna try this and see if it works for you.
Love Google Chrome!

Now see, whenever I hear the word "beta," I'm like:  Okay, you pay me and I'll help you work out your bugs

But oldest dd is using chrome beta and loves it, swears she's had no issues with it.  So I think I will give it a shot.

The only real issue I've had, besides Inkfrog not wanting to work with it, is clicking on some links through FB - I get a "too many re-directs" error page.  Not always, but often enough to be irritating.

Nope  ;)

Are you ragging on Vista in particular?  Just curious.

Vista is just one of many programs M$ released in alpha.  Windows xp is nothing but the beta version of win98.

So is oldest dd.  Interestingly enough, they've never contacted her for feedback of any sort.  You?
