Breakpal

www.breakpal.com

What a great concept!   The have a free level so you can sign up and try it out but I just upgraded to the paid.

What is it?   Breakpal places a widget on your computer and every 30 minutes Liz pops up to remind you to take a few minutes for yourself.    You get to click on whichever exercise you choose (the upgraded plan has a LOT more) and then a video comes on where Liz demonstrates and talks you through a short workout - most are in the 2-3 minute range.

While you aren't going to run an IM triathlon based solely on your breakpal exercises, the exercises are good, and for most of us, incorporating this into our day will boost our fitness level.

Aimed at the workplace but I used it today working at home.   I think it's great for SAHMs/WAHMs - get the kids to join in with you!   And, I think it will be great for getting us through the long hours of Q4 at the warehouse!

Isn't it great?

Seriously, y'all - it's worth a look.     There are exercises for ALL fitness levels and to accommodate almost any physical restrictions.  (There are even a bunch of seated exercises.)

Thanks so much for posting this, Beth!  :heartkiss Now that I am working in Cubicle City, this may come in very handy. I have to see what I can do in the cube that won't attract too much attention, LOL. My cube mate would probably do them with me, but our cubes are on the main aisle that everyone walks through and we can be seen by everyone passing by. We struggle to go to the gym for about 30 minutes 2-3 times a week on lunch hour now.

There are a bunch of exercises that are not too horribly conspicuous.   And even folks getting in regular gym time can benefit from the stretching and breathing exercises.  :-)
